Working method
How a branch insight engagement unfolds
A clear sequence used across Thai retail networks—field discovery first, definitions locked before build, pilots before rollout.
1. Scope with operations, not only MIS
We sit with operations directors and regional managers to name the decisions the dashboards must support: which branches need floating tellers, which regions redefine wait incorrectly, which product desks distort averages. MIS joins to map extracts, but the questions come from the floor.
2. Visit a deliberate branch sample
Urban high-volume counters, suburban Saturday peaks, and thinner upcountry floors teach different lessons. We observe ticket flow, note lounge exclusions, and photograph nothing confidential—notes stay in the engagement file.
3. Lock metric dictionaries before pixels
Wait start and stop, teller utilisation denominators, and abandoned-ticket rules are written down and signed off. Only then do visual drafts begin. This step prevents a mid-rollout rewrite that erodes trust.
4. Pilot four branches, then freeze
Two weeks of shadow use surface filter requests. Filters that appear in two or more pilots enter the network view; single-branch needs stay local. Definitions freeze for an agreed period so managers can learn one language.
5. Handoff to your analysts
Documentation covers extract schedules, known data quirks, and refresh steps. We walk through the pack live. Monthly briefing retainers are available if you want an external reading while your team beds in.
Typical timeline
- Week 1–2: scoping, NDA, sample design, extract checklist.
- Week 2–4: branch visits and metric workshops.
- Week 4–7: drafts, pilot access, filter log.
- Week 7–10: final views, documentation, handoff sessions.
